Founded in 1891 as a nursing school, Maine College of Health Professions develops leaders in the allied health professions through individualized instruction, hands-on clinical rotations, and accomplished faculty. The school offers associate degree programs in nursing, radiologic technology, and nuclear medicine.
MCHP hired us to take on the rebranding of the school. After isolating the objective to target high-achieving, recent high school graduates, we focused on the college’s true difference-makers – its emphasis on hands-on clinical experience and career readiness.
Then the brand strategy work could begin. We interviewed faculty and current students, the president of the college and alumni. The MCHP student experience is paramount and the school’s vision seamlessly meshes a rich history with a future-focused view of Maine’s healthcare needs. We created a new logo as well as core key messages illustrating the value, personality, and promise of the brand. We reinvented their environmental signage; developed marketing and admissions brochures, postcards and stationary; and gave the college a new, highly mobile-friendly website.
The MCHP brand is about people – forward-thinking, talented, and passionate healthcare professionals. It’s a compelling story to tell. We just helped them do it.
